CA B&T MP5K: Good? Bad? TECHNICAL INFO NEEDED, TOO?
I want to build a nice little "bullet-hose"
I am considering a CA metal MP5K with:
-HK proprietary claw-mount red dot sight
-longer inner barrel+silencer
-folding stock
-possible autowinding 1000-3000 mag
HERE ARE THE QUESTIONS:
-Is the CA MP5K a good gun? Does it have any known problems?
-What is meant when it is said that the MP5K has a "SEALED BORE-UP CHAMBER?"
-Is the MP5K a good base gun for a high-speed setup?
-What upgrades could be recommended to increase RoF?
-Is it capable of using a 7.2v LiPo battery out of the box? If not, what upgrades would be needed to allow LiPo use?

It is great externally, but you may run into some problems with the internals, just like all CA airsoft gunss.
It has a bore-up kit preinstalled. A bore-up set of parts is meant to draw in more air to propel the BB through a longer inner barrel than what would normally be used.
Yes, but so is everything.
High speed gear set, high speed motor, polycarbonate, drilled piston, light spring (~M100), High Voltage NiHM or 7.4+ Li-Poly battery. A MOSFETS system would be great, but if you've never done it before, don't attempt it. You'll need to cut up your piston and piston teeth a bit, and high resistance wiring is always good.
You can try, but I wouldn't recommend it.
